"We feel extremely glad (to overtake the American team in the last minute). They are tough, very tough. I think we broke through them. Today we rowed a good round."

On their communication:
"We believe in each other so much. We just have to row as one unit: as that saying goes, All our hearts beat as one." If one of us feels that we need (to inspire) a next person, we will scream to him and say, I"m with you. Let's go!"

On the weather:
"It's hot, really hot. Where we come from the day[time] is also very dry and hot. I think the conditions here are just a little bit hotter. It"s going to make it (next year's Olympic) very tough and competitive. It"s also a good challenge, very exciting."
