The 2007 FISA World Rowing Junior Championships concluded in Beijing on August 11. At a post-tournament press conference Mike Tanner, Chairman of the FISA Event Commission, and Matt Smith, FISA Executive Director, spoke highly of the tournament, which was the first one of the "Good Luck Beijing" Sport Events held in this future Olympic city in August.
